We deliver end-to-end solutions — from hardware installation to software integration — using open-source technologies including Home Assistant, Node-RED, TimescaleDB, and Grafana.
We are building a compact, high-performance team and seeking a Project Delivery Manager to lead our project delivery function and manage critical implementation projects.
Role Purpose
To build and lead Ferbos' project delivery capability while managing the successful execution of IoT and ERP implementation projects — from planning and resource allocation to hardware installation, software integration, and quality handover.
This dual role combines departmental leadership (establishing delivery processes, systems, and standards) with hands-on project management of complex hardware-software integration projects.
Structural Leadership
Build and maintain the project delivery function, processes, and team capabilities
Project Execution
Serve as Project Manager for assigned strategic IoT/ERP integration projects
Responsibilities
Department & Process Leadership
- Design and maintain project delivery methodology, quality standards, and best practices
- Develop Odoo-based project templates, workflows, approval processes, and reporting dashboards
- Manage overall resource allocation and capacity planning across the project portfolio
- Lead weekly project portfolio reviews with leadership to track pipeline, risks, and resource utilization
- Establish KPIs for project performance, team utilization, and customer satisfaction
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Build project documentation libraries, checklists, and knowledge repositories
- Mentor and develop project team members on delivery excellence
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Odoo Project & Planning modules
- Coordinate daily activities between IoT hardware, software integration, and installation teams
- Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions proactively
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, scope, and quality requirements
- Manage project scope changes through formal change control processes
- Lead project kickoff meetings and weekly progress reviews with internal teams
Resource Scheduling & Team Coordination
- Assign workloads and schedules across engineers, technicians, and integration specialists
- Track and manage timesheets in Odoo for performance analysis and utilization reports
- Facilitate daily standups and weekly coordination meetings to align progress and priorities
- Balance resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or external resource needs
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Maintain and enforce quality checklists for each project stage (site survey, installation, integration, testing, handover)
- Conduct site inspections and verification testing before customer handover
- Review and approve handover documentation including as-built drawings, configuration files, and user manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and customer specifications
- Record lessons learned and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Manage project closeout procedures including final invoicing and warranty documentation
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the main operational contact for project execution and day-to-day coordination
- Communicate project progress, risks, and solutions transparently to management and customers
- Align expectations with clients and internal teams for smooth delivery
- Manage customer escalations and resolve issues professionally
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients
- Coordinate project handover meetings and training sessions with client operations teams
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of proven experience in project delivery, construction management, or system integration
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams
- Track record of successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies, procurement workflows, and quality control processes
- Hands-on experience with Odoo or other ERP systems (Project, Inventory, Purchasing modules)
- Familiarity with IoT, building automation, or electrical/mechanical system integration projects
- Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical installations, and network infrastructure is a plus
- Proficiency with project management tools and documentation platforms
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system architectures
